Edinburgh, United Kingdom -- KAL is pleased
to announce the successful deployment of the Kalignite Platform
by Ace Cash Express. Ace Cash Express, Inc. (NASDAQ:AACE)
recently completed the deployment of over 270 self-service
machines (SSMs) running Kalignite.
The Kalignite-based SSMs deliver a variety of transaction
services including check cashing, bill payment, transfers,
prepaid long distance and wireless transactions, money orders
and traditional ATM transactions.
Ace Cash Express had deployed a similar system on a smaller
scale in 2002 using a software platform provided by a competitor
to KAL but elected to redesign the system and switch to Kalignite
for this important deployment.
