Edinburgh, United Kingdom -- KAL is pleased to announce the successful deployment of the Kalignite for Branch software at Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. Norwich and Peterborough Building Society (NPBS) recently completed the deployment of over 400 systems in more than 50 branches running Kalignite for Branch.

Norwich and Peterborough Building Society elected to redesign their branch system, which is based on the XFS software banking standard, and switch to Kalignite for Branch for this important deployment. Previously NPBS used a system provided by a competitor to KAL.

David Knowles, Development Manager of PC and Internet Business Systems, stated that, "The rollout of our Teller software is now complete, and has gone exceptionally well. Your (Kalignite for Branch) software has given us absolutely no problems and is performing very well."

Steve Hensley, Executive Vice President of Sales for KAL, added, “Prior to the release of Kalignite for Branch, there were very few options available to financial institutions and software development organizations for developing branch applications. This clearly shows that the Kalignite platform can be employed in all retail bank delivery channels with great success.”
