Yapi Kredi completes ATM software conversion … with a little help from KAL

Yapi Kredi, one of the largest banks in Turkey, has completed the conversion to KAL software on its network of over 4000 ATMs.

The leading Turkish bank used KAL’s K3A ATM application development environment to implement its own multivendor ATM application for its 4,235 ATMs. In addition, Yapi Kredi is using KAL’s KTC Management System to remotely monitor and manage the entire ATM estate.

KAL offered Yapi Kredi complete flexibility when it came to choosing a migration model that aligned with the extensive skills, subject-matter expertise and advanced technological capabilities of the bank staff. Yapi Kredi was able to carry out all the necessary customizations and integration work on its own – with training and support from KAL when required.

Gülter Bedel, Payment Systems and Digital Channels Software Development Vice President at Yapi Kredi, said: “We are particularly impressed with how easy it was for our team to use the KAL tool, allowing us to be autonomous in our developments and project management.”
