Project Requirements

Banques Populaires is one of France's largest banks and operates an ATM network of 4000 across a customer base of 7,000,000. The bank's ATMs support a wide range of customer transactions, including advanced operations such as mobile phone top-ups.

KAL's Solution

KAL's EMV Kernel was used within the i-BP private multi-vendor software application. The Kernel was used to support the advanced customer transactions which can only be accessed using the Europay MasterCard Visa (EMV), 'chip and pin' technology, which significantly reduces card-based fraud and promotes secure ATM transactions.
