What the job involves

You will be part of the IT team supporting staff in all KAL offices, around the world. This includes onsite and remote support of users. You will be helping improve and upgrade the network infrastructure.

You will be expected to:

  • Solve problems quickly and accurately
  • Correctly document procedures for both colleagues and customers
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues at different levels of management and technical skill
  • Interact comfortably in a 'Multi-Country' environment
  • Be available on-call out of hours for business needs
  • Have a positive approach to work and with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Show continuing commitment to a quality approach to IT development by keeping track of the latest technology concepts

What we need from you

  • Education to degree level in a related degree
  • Relevant Microsoft/CISCO Qualification
  • Windows Server infrastructure services (Active Directory / DFS / DNS / Group Policy)
  • Understanding and experience of:
    • Backup and Business Continuity techniques
    • Networking – TCPIP, VPN, Firewalls, Routing
    • Active Directory
    • Core Network Services – DNS, DHCP
    • Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Microsoft Azure

  • Specific experience of supporting/maintaining:
    • Windows Server
    • Windows Desktop
    • Microsoft Exchange 2019
    • Microsoft SQL
    • Hardware and Software Support:
      • CISCO
      • HP
      • Dell
      • Microsoft

  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluency in English. This is essential as English is our working language. Other languages are highly desirable.
  • The legal right to work and live in United Kingdom
